Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the MaieutApps website at https://maieutics.app (the “Site”) and, together with our End User License Agreement, our applications (the “Apps”). By using the Site or Apps, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be able to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction and comply with these Terms and applicable law. If you use the Services on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.

2. The Site

The Site provides marketing and informational content about our Apps. It is offered as a static public website. We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Site at any time without notice.

3. Intellectual property

All Site content, trademarks, logos, and branding (including MaieutApps and product names) are owned by us or our licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from Site materials except for personal, non-commercial viewing or as we expressly allow in writing.

4. Application licenses

Apps distributed through the App Store or Mac App Store are licensed under Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement and our EULA. Erebos or other Developer ID / notarized builds may be distributed under the EULA and any purchase terms stated at download.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Misuse network or device features (for example Wake-on-LAN) on networks or machines you do not own or administer;
  • Attempt unauthorized access to systems, scrape the Site in a way that impairs service, or introduce malware;
  • Reverse engineer Apps except where mandatory law permits;
  • Use the Site or Apps to violate law or third-party rights;
  • Misrepresent your affiliation with MaieutApps.

6. Third-party services

The Site and Apps may link to Apple, App Store pages, or other third-party services. We do not control those services and are not responsible for their content or practices. Your use of them is subject to their terms.

7. Disclaimers

THE SITE AND APPS ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SITE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE.

8. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SITE OR APPS. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR CLAIMS RELATED TO THE SITE SHALL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (US$100). MANDATORY CONSUMER PROTECTIONS REMAIN UNAFFECTED.

9. Indemnity

You will defend and indemnify us against claims arising from your misuse of the Site or Apps or your violation of these Terms, to the extent permitted by law.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms by posting a revised version on this page. Continued use after the “Last updated” date constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
